Our Story

VINCENT AQUATICS, a division of Vincent Pools, Inc, is a commercial swimming pool design and construction firm presently based in the greater Philadelphia area.  The company was originally founded as The American Pool Company in 1956 by Harry W Vincent.  They built numerous pools throughout the upper midwestern United States for the better part of two decades. 

Eventually Mr. Vincent relocated to eastern Pennsylvania and in 1976 he founded Vincent Pools.  Soon after he was joined by his son J. Michael Vincent and his son-in-law, John D. Bray and they grew Vincent Pools together until his passing in 1982.  Michael and John incorporated Vincent Pools in 1983 and continued building commercial, municipal and institutional pools throughout the Mid-Atlantic, going on to win numerous awards for excellence in both design and construction.  They quickly established Vincent Pools, Inc as the preeminent commercial pool builder in the region.

In 1988 Vincent Pools, Inc was invited by Paddock Pool Equipment Company to act as their representative in the Northeastern region and join the exclusive national builders network reserved solely for the industry leaders in their respective markets.  At this time Vincent Pools, Inc began doing business under the trade name Paddock Atlantic.  Their reputation for excellence was now firmly entrenched within the commercial building community of the northeastern United States.

In 2003, Michael’s son Chris Vincent joined the team and continued the growth of the overall business capacity of Vincent Pools.  Then in 2004 Vincent Pools expanded their footprint in the industry yet again as Deep Run Aquatic Services was formed in response to the growing demand for sophisticated expertise in pool filtration and sanitation.  Deep Run continues to specialize in ultraviolet light systems, automated chemistry control and alternate means of chlorine and Ph buffering delivery.

Around 2018, Chris Vincent officially stepped into the role of President of Vincent Pools, Inc as Michael and John started to wind down their respective professional careers.   Just recently, Vincent Pools, Inc has been rebranded as Vincent Aquatics and has preserved the sophistication, reliability and overall excellence in all facets of the aquatic industry.
